Knorr-Bremse Rail Systems (UK) Limited are members of the Knorr-Bremse Group, who are global leaders in braking and on-board systems for rail vehicles. They have UK facilities based locally in Melksham and Corsham, as well as further afield in Manchester.

What was the brief?

540 gorgeous Christmas hampers to thank team members for all their hard work!

How did Taste of Bath help?

Knorr-Bremse asked us to create a bespoke hamper just for them, featuring a mix of sweet and savoury snacks, cheese, and a few different drinks to toast a successful year, presented in our stylish branded cardboard boxes. In our design we included our bestselling Wyfe of Bath cheese alongside some of our favourite festive cheeseboard essentials like Boxing Day Chutney and traditional Bath Squares crackers, and a choice of local wines and craft beer with the perfect nibbles – Greek olives marinated with garlic and herbs, and irresistibly moreish Mini Parmesan Crackers. For the sweet tooth, we included festive favourites Peppermint Creams, and we knew from past experience that the Knorr-Bremse team absolutely love the Best Ever Brownie Co, so just for them we sourced some seriously Christmassy chocolate orange brownies.

Alongside these specially chosen goodies, we included Meet the Producer cards with information on all the products on one side, and a Christmas message from the Knorr-Bremse management team with Knorr-Bremse branding on the other.

Knorr-Bremse is a worldwide company, but in the UK, their headquarters and main manufacturing sites are here in the South-West, so we were delighted to help them celebrate that with some of the unique and wonderful food and drink for which this region is famous!

A commitment to environmental responsibility is key amongst Knorr-Bremse’s brand values, so Taste of Bath’s low food miles and thoughtful packaging were a great fit – not only are our beautiful branded cardboard boxes fully recyclable themselves, but they’re made with at least 70% recycled, fully FSC-certified materials.
