Taste of Bath is delighted to be celebrating one whole year of our outstanding business gifting service – twelve months have flown by since we launched in autumn last year! Since then we’ve worked with over 75 businesses locally, nationally and internationally, sending a Taste of Bath all over the world. Last week we hosted our first Annual Client Reception at the beautiful Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel, to raise a glass to a hugely successful first year with some of our fantastic partners and clients.
Eight of our bestselling producers were in attendance at the event, offering tasters of their products and chatting to guests, and our local delivery partner, Three Bags Full, was also there to show off their brilliant electric cargo bikes that make our local deliveries with zero emissions. We had a mouth-watering menu of canapés starring some of our favourite products, washed down with Bath Gin & Tonics, Electric Bear Craft Ales, and Bath Water, and we sent each guest home with a goody bag featuring even more of our delicious hand-selected local produce – of course, you’d expect nothing less from a Taste of Bath event!
With over 150 local guests and distinguished Taste of Bath clients in attendance, the room was buzzing from the very beginning – we were delighted to welcome partners from Bishop Fleming, BuroHappold, Edit Agency, Epoch Wealth Management, FWD Thinking, Bath Life, Mogers Drewett, Novia, Ready Agency, Fidelius, Relish Agency, Savills, Stone King and many more. Many of our guests were captured in our fabulous Taste of Bath photobooth – so if you were there, click here to view all our photobooth images and see if you can spot yourself! You can also view our event album here, with lots more photos from the evening.
As part of the program for the evening we heard short speeches from two of Taste of Bath’s corporate clients, Fidelius and Ready Agency, about their experiences using our business gifting service. Jake from Ready Agency described how the agency works with clients all over the world, but uses Taste of Bath’s hampers to celebrate the Bath roots they’re so proud of – something we hear from a lot of our local partners! Jake was also keen to emphasise that the level of customer service is something that really makes Taste of Bath stand out, describing it as ‘service you just don’t get anywhere else’ – which is exactly what we like to hear as we’ll do whatever it takes to make our business clients happy. We also heard from one of our producers, Steph from In A Pickle, who has been with us right from the beginning (three years ago now!) and spoke about the relationship between Taste of Bath and its family of producers, something which is really important to us – as Steph said, for us it’s about championing Bath and promoting not just Taste of itself, but all the small businesses that are part of it too. And we’re not stopping at Bath – in her speech Taste of Bath founder Helen Rich announced that next year will see the launch of Taste of Bristol, which is hugely exciting – watch this space…
Working away behind the scenes to make our Annual Client Event such a huge success were ZiaBia Events Management & Consultancy, Sounds Commercial, Andrew Callaghan and Marc Le Galle taking all our beautiful photos, and of course Macdonald Bath Spa Hotel, so a huge thank you to all, as well as to our brilliant producers and Taste of Bath team. Next on the horizon is Christmas – don’t forget, if you’re intending to place an order yourself with our corporate gifting service, we’re offering 5% off all business gifting orders placed before the 27th of October. Just click here for more information, or contact Helen to book your consultation. Go on, get it all organised and ticked off the to do list nice and early – just chat to us about what you need and we’ll do all the hard work for you!
