Taste of Bath Business Gifting Launch

Last week was a pretty exciting one here at Taste of Bath HQ, as Bath’s new Apex Hotel hosted our fabulous Business Gifting Launch & Networking Event! As well as a range of mouth-watering specially curated hampers, our corporate gifting service also offers the opportunity to create your own bespoke hamper, perfect for treating your partners, clients or customers in a way that’s unique and memorable.

Frankly, we think it’s the ideal antidote to the usual boring clichés of corporate gifting, and it’s already proving hugely popular – so to help us celebrate, we were delighted to be joined by people from all sorts of brilliant Bath businesses, as well as representatives from the local press including The Bath Magazine, Bath Life and the Bath Chronicle. The Apex’s beautiful Atrium was packed with people eating, drinking and chatting – exactly the sort of networking we like best.

Naturally, when it comes to Taste of Bath events, the food and drink is crucial, so as many of our producers as possible were represented. On hand to serve up treats were the Organic Cake Company (whose incredible brownies drew a crowd all night), Somerset Charcuterie, slicing cured meats to order, multiple-award-winners Colonna and Smalls, who brought along their brilliant new coffee pods, and the Bath Gin Company, who were tasting and mixing flavours to order. To wash it all down, behind the bar we had Bath Gin stirring up BGTs to order (that’s Bath Gin & Tonics to the uninitiated, with special Naivasha tonic and fresh kaffir lime leaves), and Ben Franks from Novel Wines pouring local wines from Wraxalls Vineyard, as well as frosty bottles of Stoney Bonk, Honey’s Midford Cider, and Electric Bear Brewing’s Persuasion Pale Ale, and still and sparkling water from Bath Water.

Apex’s head chef Ben Abercrombie and his kitchen staff also rustled up a delicious selection of canapes starring more of our favourite local foodie discoveries, from salmon cured with Bath Gin and served up with Fussels’ Rapeseed Classic Mayonnaise, to Bath Soft Cheese and In A Pickle Lily on linseed biscuits. And all of our lovely guests took home a fabulous Taste of Bath tote filled with goodies like Seven Hills Chocolate, Pistachio Provenance nuts and Meg’s Cottage fudge. We had plenty of great tweets during the night and the consensus was ‘Best goody bags ever!’, although of course we’re far too modest to comment…

At Taste of Bath, we think corporate gifting is a fantastic opportunity – not just to say thank you, but to show a little of the personality behind your brand and to make a lasting impression. So don’t waste it on boring gifts! If you’re looking for something special, then download our Corporate Gifting Brochure, or get in touch for a one-to-one consultation.
